Wash your Cover Story topper only when needed. Because it does not receive natural oils from your scalp the way your own hair does, it does not need to be washed near as often as the hair growing from your head.

As a general guideline, many wearers can wash about every two to four weeks in cooler weather, and about every one to three weeks in warmer weather.

Wash sooner if the hair has product buildup, feels heavy, or no longer feels fresh.
